We are the Nye family! From visiting the "Happiest place on earth",  exploring the world, and to just staying at home watching our son's favorite show, we love to enjoy all life has to offer! We were both born and raised in Utah, in faith filled homes. Our faith in Christ is the rock that helps us through this crazy thing we call life. We have been married for 6 1/2 years and love spending time together. Noah was born in 2016, he is such a blessing in our life, and is so much fun to be with.​ Through special experiences we have felt strongly to grow our family through adoption, and couldn't be more excited! We look forward to getting to know you as you get to know us.

Jared

Jared is a glass half full type of a guy! He connects with each person he meets, and makes them feel loved. He is a loving, and attentive father. He is usually found playing Legos, sports, and reading to our son Noah. The neighborhood kids have affectionately nick-named Jared "number one fun adult." You can often see Jared drinking a Diet Coke. One thing you won't find him doing is drinking milk that is even 1 day past the expired date. Jared is always serving and helping anyone and everyone he can. He has a big heart and a fun personality!

Favorite Movie: The Holiday
Jodee loves being creative, whether that's decorating cakes, cookies, or learning new hairstyles. She loves singing in the shower, and sings to Noah most every night. Her favorite TV show is Heartland. Her guilty pleasure is a freshly baked, melt in your mouth, Crumble chocolate chip cookie. Being outside at the beach is her happy place, where she can listen to the waves crash against the shore, and sink her toes into the sand. She loves spending time with her son Noah playing with toys, reading, and baking cookies. She has a kind heart, and loves to help others whenever she can.

Noah

Noah is 4 years old, and loves playing with Legos, dressing up in super hero customs, and helping his dad with yard work. He loves Disneyland, and especially loved meeting Mickey Mouse! Noah has such a sweet, tender heart, and a contagious laugh. He is so excited to be a big brother!

Adventures 

Wanderlust

We are very active and love being in the outdoors. We love to travel as a family and love the chance it provides us to learn about different cultures. However, we are lucky that Utah has so much to offer too. From the beautiful mountains that offer camping, hiking, and to the amazing lakes that offer boating and swimming. To top it off, Disneyland isn't too far way. We all love to spend time at the happiest place on earth.

Jared's Family

Nye Family

Jared is the youngest of four boys. Every fall you will find the Nye's at a fall festival and carving pumpkins.

Cabin fun

Every summer we enjoy our time at the family's cabins in Fish Lake and Bear Lake. 

Fall festivities 

We've enjoyed trips with Jared's family to Disneyland, and a Caribbean Cruise. Noah's Grandparents take him to the zoo every year.

Jodee's Family

Hiking at Zions

Jodee is the second youngest of 5 children. She has a twin brother. Jodee's parents live in St. George where we often visit to get out of the cold weather. We love swimming in their pool.

The Coombs family

We love going camping, and have enjoyed our trips to Hawaii, and  Disney World. 

Swimming at Nana and Papa's house

We get together for holidays to spend time together, eat yummy food, and continue family traditions. Some family traditions include, Easter egg hunts, decorating haunted houses, acting out the nativity story and much more.

Traditions

We love Halloween! We love costumes, carving pumpkins, and making graham cracker haunted houses. In the spring we get together and ride four wheelers, decorate Easter eggs, and eat delicious food! The summer is always time to be outside, camping with family, and boating/swimming. We love to drive around and look at Christmas lights in the winter.

Our Home

Home is where you find love

We moved into our home in 2015. We have loved our home, and love having family and friends over to enjoy each others company. We love that there is a good mix of young and old families. The kids are constantly playing outside with each other in our cul-de-sac. Our neighbors are warm and friendly. We always look forward to our annual 4th of July BBQ with our neighbors! We feel so lucky to live in such an active, safe, and fun neighborhood.
